Your words can rescue an individual from the slums of life and set him on the path of restoration and hope to a bright future. Hope and doom are both weaved and engrafted with words. Astute leaders have left footprints in the sands of time and inspired nations with effectual power of words to be great today.

Incredible archives of speeches and articles still stand as lasting legacies in the names of great leaders like Indian non-violent revolutionist, Mahatma Ghandi and American Civil Rights Anti-segregationist leader, Rev Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Lily Tomlin once said ‘the road to success is always under construction’. A person may not look great today; wait give him or her time. The first African-American POTUS, Barack Obama in 1996 was only a member of the Illinois State Senate, on January 20,2009 he was inaugurated as the 44th president of the United States of America. God used words to create the world. In Genesis Chapter one, the commonly used phrase is “and God said”. Be a speaker of hope in the lives of people around you.

In a nutshell “Create and recreate your world with words of positivity and rejuvenation”.

As the calendar flips to a new year, it comes with a great sense of euphoria and bliss for millions of people around the world.

To millions, the new year signifies a fresh start,a new dawn and the inception of an era.

It presents many, an opportunity to set their lives, businesses,organization, brands and nations on a right path towards a destination of tremendous success and liberation. Not to forget of the populist idea; New year resolutions.The list is endless.

Every year, with same or similar recurring themes ranging from health and fitness to financial independence with themes like; lose belly weight, gain six packs, get a better job, save N amount of cedis monthly money, read the bible daily, the list goes on and on.

Research shows “that 38% of people make new year resolutions each year but only 9% of people stick to them all year long”. Shocking as it is !

Another damming research states “that 80% of new year’s resolutions are forgotten by February while 46% of adults stick to their new year resolutions after six months”.

In 2024, I challenge you to go outside of your comfort zone and get fired up for work. Workout your goals with the greatest seriousness and aggression there is.

NO PAIN, NO GAIN!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR FOLKS.
